What is Rise of the Feminine? 

Rise of the Feminine is an International Women’s Day Celebration to empower and inspire women and features transformational talks, networking opportunities, and sisterhood.

When and where is Rise of the Feminine taking place?
Rise of the Feminine will take place on March 8, 2023, from 8 AM - 11 AM CST at 900 N. Michigan Avenue. There is also a virtual option to attend for the transformational talks portion of the event on Zoom from anywhere. 

What hours will feature the Transformational Talks?
Transformational Talks are expected to start at 8:30 AM CST and end at 10:30 AM CST.

Can men attend? 

This event is a woman-focused event that intends an inclusive definition of women. We are welcoming and respectful of women, including trans women and those who are nonbinary, gender non-conforming, and anyone who identifies as a woman in a way that is significant to them. We love our brothers of the rose, however, in-person tickets are reserved for people who identify as women. Men are welcome and encouraged to attend via the Zoom streaming option. 

Can I bring my children?

While Rise of the Feminine is designed for women and mothers, the event is not suitable for children. Please contact megan.davison@lauthorities.com if childcare is preventing you from attending the event.

How much are the tickets?
Tickets to attend in-person are $150. Tickets to attend virtually on Zoom are $50.

Are tickets refundable?

Tickets for this event are non-refundable. If you purchase a ticket and later discover you cannot attend, you can transfer your ticket to another person by emailing megan.davison@lauthorities.com.

Do I need to create a paypal account to pay for tickets?

Nope! If you do not have a paypal account, simply select the credit card option to bypass the Paypal account login/creation.  

What does a ticket for the in-person event include?
A ticket for Rise of the Feminine includes access to all transformational talks, networking opportunities, and access to the After Party at 900 N. Michigan Shops. Tickets do not include any food or beverage purchases beyond coffee and tea service at the event unless noted by sponsors.

Can tickets be purchased at the door on the day of?

No. Please purchase tickets online in advance. We will cease online ticket sales 24 hours before the event, or when we sell out, whichever comes first. 

How can I donate to or sponsor Rise of the Feminine?
You can invest in women as one of our sponsors. Visit our sponsorship page to learn more about various sponsorship levels and opportunities. If you simply want to make a donation to further compensate the event creators and speakers for their time, energy and dedication to being in service of women, contact megan.davison@lauthorities.com. Donations of all sizes are welcome and very much appreciated. 

 

What if I can’t afford a ticket, but I would really like to attend?

If finances feel tight right now, but you really want to come to the event please contact megan.davison@lauthorities.com

Where is the event happening inside 900 Shops?

The event will take place inside 900 N. Michigan Shops before the mall officially opens for the day. The stage and seating will be on the second floor in front of Bloomingdale's.

Is parking available?
Yes, parking is available at 900 N. Michigan. The parking garage can be accessed at the entrance at 45 E. Walton or 900 N. Rush. A $10 parking validation will be provided to event attendees for 5 hours of parking. Beyond the 5 hours, normal garage parking rates apply.

Is 900 N. Michigan accessible for individuals with disabilities?
Yes, the venue is accessible for individuals with disabilities. If you require special accommodations, please indicate what support you need during ticket registration, or reach out to megan.davison@lauthorities.com for further assistance.

Will there be food or beverages?

Water, coffee, and tea service will be available during the transformational talks from 8 AM CST - 11 AM CST. After the event, Aster Hall Food Vault will be open where additional food and beverage can be purchased. The event speakers will be gathering there for lunch until 1 PM CST.

What should I wear?
Wear what brings you joy, feels comfortable, or makes you feel the most like you. All levels of dress are welcome - dressy formal, casual fabulous, business attire, or super extra.
 
What should I bring?
There isn’t anything special you need to bring. However, if you feel called: bring a pen, journal, crystal or any other token you want to charge with positive energy from the event.

What will happen after the event?

We encourage you to spend some time at 900 N. Michigan from exploring the retailers and supporting local women-owned businesses.

When will I receive a zoom link?
Your zoom link will be sent out the day prior to the event.

Can my team attend over Zoom in one or several locations?

If you would like to attend as a team or organization-wide in multiple locations (including remote workers), all of your team members can join! You can buy individual tickets for $50 on Zoom or purchase our Watch Party Sponsor package for $1,500 to receive unlimited tickets! 

Will I be able to watch the recording if I can’t attend live?

Yes. A replay of the event will be emailed to all Zoom ticket holders after the event.

Can I buy a block of tickets for my team?
Absolutely! As long as tickets are still available you can purchase what you need. We also have sponsorship packages that include tickets that may be a fit for you. Visit our sponsorship page to learn more about various sponsorship levels and opportunities. 

I have a promo code, how do I use it?
Go to the registration page and select the ticket option (In-Person or Zoom) you wish to purchase then click the “checkout” button. Once you get to the check out page, on the right-hand side of the page, you’ll see a box that says “enter coupon code.” This is where you will enter the promo code. Complete the registration steps from there.
