Sure, you know all about scheduling and preparing for your Q4 strategy session (masculine energy). But if you've been wanting to balance in your feminine energy as a leader, you may want to add some sacred feminine practices to your Fall transition plan: rituals!
While you are likely already in the habit to set time aside to clarify your Fall goals, projects, strategies, and actions; taking time for rituals is a practice about making space for symbolism and your deepest intent. Rituals are not just about achieving specific outcomes, rather, they are about creating meaning, fulfillment, and surrendering to the highest good for all to be revealed.
In honoring your feminine side, which is deeply connected to the Earth, the change of seasons is a time you can attune to nature's rhythms. You can feel Summer giving way to Fall ~ a shift from vibrancy and full bloom toward harvest and letting go.
While culturally the Fall transition begins with the Labor Day weekend, the full seasonal shift doesn't occur until the Fall Equinox (which this year is on September 22nd). Given the seasonal transition, you can create space anytime in the month of September that feels most aligned to you to try out one or several of these 6 rituals to invite in the sacred feminine to your work:
1. Gratitude Ritual
Fall is traditionally the season of harvest, symbolizing the gathering of the fruits of your labor. It’s a time to appreciate the work done earlier in the year and to recognize the abundance in your life on many levels. This is a time that feels natural to reflect on your harvest - the blessings for yourself and others - and offer thanks.
✨ Journaling inquiries: What is my harvest this fall: where do I see my efforts are now paying off with blessings and abundance? Who might I thank and how (including gratitude to myself)?
2 Reflection Ritual
Any seasonal transition invites you to turn inward, assessing where you are in life, where you are meant to go, and who you are meant to become. In Fall in particular, as trees shed their leaves, you naturally also feel an inner urge for letting go of what no longer serves you. This could be old habits, outdated beliefs, or emotional baggage.
✨ Meditation practice: To assist you in reflecting on what's ahead and what to let go, tune into a guided meditation with me on the Insight Timer app titled: Visioning the Clarity of Your Path.
3. Retreat Ritual
A retreat timed with the start of a new season allows you to both enjoy new learning (that "Fall back to school vibe") and take time to gain clarity around your priorities. Engaging with a group of like-minded professionals also helps you reconnect with your purpose, spark creativity, and offer inspiration and motivation for the season ahead.
✨ Rise Retreat: You're invited by me and my partner Amy Galvin, to retreat with us along with other inspiring mentors and peers, on September 21st for the RISE Retreat
4. Oracle Ritual
Oracle readings can provide clarity on big themes or specific questions for the season ahead. The process of selecting and interpreting cards is also a sacred practice to help deepen your connection to your own intuition, which is an essential feminine skill in the modern professional world with so much change and uncertainty.

5. Coherency Ritual
Cleaning and organizing your workspace at the start of a new season can symbolize a fresh start, and also invites productivity, creativity, and abundance. In addition, cleaning and purging as a purification ritual is known to release the old and allow in the new in magical ways you could not even imagine.
✨ Inspirational messages: For an added benefit, you can infuse inspirational messages, symbols and images at or near your desk.
6. Nourishment Ritual
You require balance against all of your productivity and output (masculine energy) with nourishing practices that fill you back up (feminine energy). Planning ahead at the start of a new season for your own well-being with a set of nourishment rituals that you will put on repeat is essential for maintaining balance, sustaining productivity, and cultivating your very best work and leadership.
